I AM THE DRUMMER FOR THE BON
JOVI EXPERIENCE
Through the course of my career, I have played various instruments with numerous
original and tribute acts that have toured the world.
I have been playing drums since 1992. I started music lessons at the age of 5 on
the piano. After years of study and achieving high grades in piano, recorder and
theory, my interest turned to rock music. After watching The Climax Blues Band
at the age of 14, I took up the drums. Self taught until 2001, I have played
with many bands of various styles, from jazz, blues, fusion, prog rock and
numerous tribute acts that have toured the world. A once in a lifetime
opportunity occurred and I went to live in London for a year to study at the
main drum school of Great Britain, Drumtech. I achieved a diploma in music and
have been taught by some of the best drummers in the country. I bring drive,
attitude and infectious grooves to any musical outfit.
I currently am the drummer for one of the most successful tribute bands to come
out of the U.K.
Previously By Jovi, The Bon Jovi Experience has toured all over the world and in
the 11 years I've been a member of this band we have travelled to nearly every
town and city in England and other places such as, The Orkney Isles, Jersey,
Romania, Holland, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, to name but a few..
Originally I started with the band as the keyboard player, after standing in for
the drummer and playing a piano in a dressing room, I got the position on the
keys when it became available. I have also stood in for the bass player when he
had holidays or was ill and eventually at the beginning of 2011 became the
drummer as a full-time position.
I welcome Rich as the new keyboard player and wish
him as much joy as I have had with the band over the past 10 years and many more
years of giggin!
I also toured with rock guitarist, Neil Brocklebank, on his spring 2003 U.K
tour.
We were promoting his album Audio Violence.
